Eugeniu Harabara is a policy and economic development specialist with over a decade of experience in business environment reform, employment policy, and private sector development. He has held senior government positions, including State Secretary and Deputy Secretary General, leading initiatives that improved competitiveness, SME growth, and investment attraction. His expertise combines strategic policy design with hands-on implementation, focusing on fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable economic development, including digital transformation and innovation-driven growth.
Eugeniu has also collaborated with key international organizations such as the EU, GIZ, SDC,UNDP, and other development partners on economic governance, institutional reform, and business development programs, contributing to Moldova’s EU integration and modernization agenda. His portfolio also includes designing and managing SME support programs, employment-focused reforms, and donor-funded projects across sectors such as digital governance, regional development, and innovation.
